Transatlantyk Poznan International Film and Music Festival is an open, bold and glocal festival of ideas. For the second time, it is the city of Poznan that hosts the project, which was founded by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek – a composer and an Academy Award winner.

- This festival has a great chance to become a world class event because of its good organization and development – said Richard N. Gladstein – a producer of “The Bourne Identity”, “Reservoir Dogs”, “Pulp Fiction” – during the Opening Gala. – Let’s keep in mind that the most recognizable film festivals of the world, such as the Sundance Film Festival or the Caen Film Festival, are organized outside the capital city of the relevant countries and, nevertheless, they attract many visitors. Poznan is a wonderful place that can follow into the steps of those cities. – he added.
